From Skinny Dennis
Molly Ruth is a rock'n'roll - outlaw country - cosmic gospel act based out of Nashville. Steeped in the tradition of delta blues, 60's and 70's rock'n'roll, country-western Americana and Appalachian hymnals, Molly Ruth channels electrifying songs about animals, fear, glory, dancing, destiny, honor, murder, God, love, tragedy, fervor, frenzy, longing, dreams, deserts, devotion, crossroads, blood, birds, minds, time, and war.
