This spring celebration of the arts brings Art Blooms to life with live music, theater performances by Kennesaw State University, visual and performing artist demonstrations, arts and crafts, and a scavenger hunt throughout the Gardens. Guests are invited to create their own artwork while enjoying a vibrant festival atmosphere designed for all ages. Visit activity booths include North Cobb Library (crafts and story times), artists Sheila Plunkett (air-dry clay pinch and coil pots), Maureen Krivo (pen and paper illustration), Sha Huang (art and mindfulness cards), and Sol Gomez (printmaking). Jeff and Laura Surace will present a plein air painting demonstration. The day also features special performances and experiences, including Music & Movement (11 AM–12 PM), a calming Serenity in the Gardens meditation and flute experience, and guided movement sessions focused on healing and connection. Experience The Beauty Project: Through the Looking Glass at 11:30 AM and 2 PM, an immersive theatre performance presented by the Kennesaw State University Department of Theatre and Performance Studies. Join Healing Through Dance/Guided Movement (1 – 2 PM) for an all-ages, restorative movement experience designed to encourage relaxation, mindfulness, and community connection. Art Hatch activities are included with regular Garden admission, and Garden members receive free admission. A ticket purchase for the KSU theatre performance also includes full access to all Art Hatch activities, and no additional ticket is required for the theater performances during the festival.
