Worldwide Day of Play!

Smith-Gilbert Gardens joins forces with the Association of Children’s Museums and Nickelodeon for Our World: Worldwide Day of Play 2026. Bring the whole family for activities throughout the day focused on play in nature. Discovery stations will be set up in different areas of the Gardens for visitors to drop in throughout the day. Take a self-guided hike with an activity brochure, make insects and much more!   Our World: Worldwide Day of Play is part of Nickelodeon’s Our World global initiative to inspire kids and provide them with tools to activate their individual and collective agency. As part of a network of more than 300 ACM member children’s museums that reach millions of families in North America, and the more than 1,000 museums participating in Museums for All, a national access initiative that ACM manages, Smith-Gilbert Gardens is a vital collaborator in the Our World: Worldwide Day of Play.   Member admission is free.
