The talented leader, Gary Sugiyama, has been honing his guitar and ukulele skills for decades. His lead guitar work has been hailed as “instinctual” and “an incredible natural talent”. He also has gifted us with entrancing and meaningful songs that he has written and sings. His wife, Becky Brendlin Sugiyama, joined him after he bought her a ukulele; she also sings. The husband and wife team are also in two other local bands – Maile Swing Hawaiian and Bohemian Ukulele. Gary conscripted his long-time pal, Keller McDonald, to add his vocals, and ukulele prowess. Sitting in on guitar,12string and vocals is Steve Morris, a 50 year veteran of the music scene in Sonoma County. Frank Blount, who played with the former Sticky Notes, rounds out the group with his rhythmic bass. Everyone sings and takes leads on songs, an experience you don’t want to miss
