January 31-February 1: Jean-Yves Thibaudet and Rochester City Ballet Venue Partner Concert supported by David and Claudia Weber Music that truly moves – join your RPO for a 2-week Dance Festival highlighting two prestigious local dance companies. The first week highlights American Masters and features Garth Fagan Dance who performed Rite of Spring with your RPO in our Centennial Season to sold out houses! GFD will perform Philip Glass’ Days and Nights in Rocinha. The program leads off with Leonard Bernstein’s Three Dance Episodes from On The Town and ends with Aaron Copland’s Symphony No. 3. Join us for the 2nd week of the Dance Festival with another frequent collaborator, Rochester City Ballet.
