Chess Club

The Library has a Chess Club! Join us every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 2:00–3:30 PM to learn from an expert. Vanessa and Payten will guide participants through the fundamentals of chess while introducing key strategies and techniques. This twice-monthly series is designed to build critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills through engaging lessons, practice games, and analysis. Players will develop their abilities and gain confidence with each session. Open to ages 8–108—chess is a fantastic intergenerational activity!
