Dr. Ariana A. Curtis is the first curator for Latinx Studies at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. She was also born and raised in Western Massachusetts. In her first public talk back home, Dr. Curtis shares how growing up in the Springfield area has shaped her curatorial work and influences Latinx representations at the Smithsonian and beyond. Free and open to the public!
