The Springfield Symphony Chorus will collaborate with the University of Massachusetts Amherst Chorale on Poulenc’s Gloria—a radiant, unpredictable work that shifts effortlessly between sacred devotion and playful irreverence. Ravel’s Bolero follows, unfolding with hypnotic inevitability as a single idea swells into orchestral ecstasy.
