Bunk with the Beasts Family Campout

Our fall family campout returns! Arrive anytime between 5 and 6 to choose your campsite on the meadow or by the Pollinator Garden. Each site will have its own picnic table available for a bring-your-own dinner. We’ll have a variety of staff-led outdoor activities, such as night hikes, live animal presentations, and science projects.  Participants will also get to experience our new planetarium & observatory! Heckscher WILD! will be open later to view our nocturnal animals. We’ll also make S’mores over the campfire! In the morning, take an early stroll on the farm as the animals get up for the morning and enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, sausage, fruit, and more before starting off your Saturday. Proceeds support the care of our Heckscher WILD! animals. Limited to 16 families.
