Junior Curator: Fall Session I

Monday, September 14 – Friday, September 18 3:30 – 5:00 pm each session day Ages 11 – 13 Our flagship junior volunteer program, Junior Curator provides an overview of basic animal care through experiential learning on Heckscher Farm. Established in 1949, this hands-on signature program offers children a unique opportunity to experience life on a working farm. Participants learn the basics of animal care through feeding, cleaning and daily care of our Heckscher Farm animals. Upon successful completion, participants are eligible to become farm volunteers. Limited to 6 participants per session. Members: $150/participant Non-Members: $170/participant REGISTER Program Note: Students may register for a maximum of one (1) Junior Curator and one (1) Junior WILD! Keeper session. Students who have previously completed a class, even in a previous year, may not enroll in that class again. Multiple registrations for different sessions of the same program will be cancelled and refunded.
