Brooklyn Against Empire: Film and Fundraiser

Brooklyn Against Empire presents A Movie Night and fundraiser for Gazan medical students. Join us every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month for a night of community building while enjoying art with your neighbors. November 3rd's movie is a 100% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes documentary that explores the 1876 seizure of the Black Hills and the indigenous Lakota people's fight to reclaim control of them. 100% of the proceeds of A Movie Night pays the tuition of medical students in Gaza. To date, Brooklyn Against Empire has fully funded three students. The proceeds from November 3rd will go toward the tuition of Ola and Sama, sisters attending the medical school at Al Azhar University of Gaza.
