Artist Reception & Creative Mixer

The City of Salida Arts & Culture Department presents its monthly Artist Reception featuring Colorado 150, a collaborative exhibition created with the Fremont Center for the Arts and Sangre Arts Guild in celebration of Colorado’s 150th birthday. Fifty Colorado artists were each given a 10-by-10-inch canvas and invited to paint a favorite part of Colorado. The completed works were then joined together to create a large, colorful “quilt” celebrating the state’s landscapes, communities, creativity, and connection. The collaborative exhibition is traveling throughout Colorado during the sesquicentennial year.
