Thursday Night Run Club!

Views of Chapel Hill, new friends to run with and the best beer in Carrboro are just some of the things that make Steel String Run Club the perfect way to spend a Thursday night! FAQ What if I’m not a runner? Walkers or interval runners are more than welcome, what’s important is showing up and spreading the good vibes. Can I bring my dog? Yes! Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome and Steel String is a dog-friendly venue. Should I bring a flashlight? Yes! please do bring a flashlight and reflective gear as it is typically dark by the time we head out. Do I need to pre-register? and how much does it cost? Just show up! The run is completely free. What’s the route like? We run from Carrboro into chapel hill on a bike path, through UNC’s campus and back down Rosemary St. and have 1.31, 3.27, and 4.99 mile routes so there’s something for everyone. Where should I park? Steel String has parking which is a little bit tucked away to the side of the building. There is also a parking deck with free parking in the Drakeford Library Complex Just in case, here’s a map of municipal lots in Carrboro.
