About this event

Community Arts & Culture

Join us at Stormwater Studios for Artists in Conversation as part of Building Bridges Through Art 2026 in partnership with the Women’s Rights and Empowerment Network (WREN) Exhibition on Saturday, June 6, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. This special community conversation will bring together participating artists to discuss the inspiration, lived experiences, and creative processes behind the work featured in the exhibition. Inspired by WREN’s Status of Women and Girls in South Carolina: 2025 Research Findings, the exhibition explores issues including healthcare access, economic inequality, childcare, advocacy, and community support systems. Guests will have the opportunity to hear directly from artists about how their work responds to themes of gender justice, equity, and collective action while engaging in meaningful dialogue about the role of art in creating awareness and connection. Featured artists include Ava Baker, Eva Bradley, Demetria Blooms, Keelin Gangwish, Betsy Halford, Scott Neely, Tammy Quarles, Tayler Simon, and Julia Strasburger. Join us for an afternoon of art, dialogue, and community engagement.
