Theater Voices – HANDY DANDY

Theater Voices presents Handy Dandy by William Gibson, a staged reading directed by Cameron Richardson October 16 at 7:30 pm, October 17 at 2:30 & 7:30 pm and October 18 at 2:30 pm Steamer No. 10 Theatre, 500 Western Avenue, Albany Admission is FREE (donations gratefully accepted). When Molly Egan, a feisty, salt-tongued activist nun appears before Henry Pulasky, a cantankerous conservative judge, for picketing a local nuclear arms research facility, their differences seem insurmountable. But as Molly is hauled back repeatedly into his court, Gibson reveals with humor and pathos the way their rocky personal stories collide. “…an exhilarating piece of theatre.” —Newsday
