About: Jeffrey C. Capps (guitar and vocals) and Tara McGovern (fiddle and vocals) forged their musical partnership in 2013. Their original folk-rock duo The Soft and Low creates songs that change the world or at least make you feel better about living in it. Both artists are active in a range of vocational and avocational interests in the Iowa City area that focus on making the community a safer and more joyful place for everyone.
