Sponsored by Shive-Hattery About: The West Liberty Varsity Jazz Band is comprised of students in grades 8 through 12 and rehearses two evenings per week. In January 2025, the band earned their second consecutive Division I Superior rating at IHSMA State Jazz Festival. The Varsity Jazz Band most recently attended the Iowa Jazz Championships in 2023.
