Moving Day Program In Schools

Summit Historical Society will be visiting Summit County Schools with its Moving Day program. This program features an educational youth program created by History Colorado that teaches elementary students about the history of migration and human movement across Colorado from prehistory up to the year 1870. The program features large walk-on floor maps of the state, historical photographs, artifact kits, culture cards, and timelines. We explore Ancestral Puebloans, Utes, Plains Indians, Hispanos, mountain men, and miners. Interested in booking this program? Contact [email protected]
