Artist Spotlight – Yuriy Petrov

Yuriy Petrov has been named our Artist Spotlight from June 29 – August 29. Yuriy is a Russian artist who came to the States over 30 years ago. He currently resides in Myrtle Beach, where he’s been drawing his inspiration and creating his art for the past 15 years. Working in acrylic, Yuriy is a unique artist who instinctively understands color relationships and patterns. Although largely self-taught, he has that remarkable talent to conceptualize a wide variety of subject matters and express his unique vision of his subjects in strong color patterns.
