Garwood Orchards: Berry Picking Ride!

Departure: 8:30am sharp Join us on a day-long adventure into NW Indiana for a day of riding, berry picking, pancake eating, and relaxing under some peach trees. In late August, you’ll find the most amazing, gigantic, and juicy blackberries at Garwood Orchards. The route from Michigan City to Garwood is slightly hilly, but beautiful. The pace will be casual. Don’t forget a backpack or basket to carry your berries home! 24mi total. Route South Shore Line (8:45am) to Michigan City 11th St (9:52am) Cycle to Memo’s House of Pancakes, arrive 10:15am Depart to Garwood Orchards 11am, arrive 11:45am Depart Garwood Orchards 1:30pm Cycle to Michigan City 11th St, arrive 2:30pm Hang out at Fluid Coffee Roasters until 3:30pm South Shore Line (3:59pm) to 57th St (5:09pm)
