Sundays, Nov 15 – Dec 20 | 1:00–4:00 PM (5 classes *No Class on 11/29) Ages 55+ | Beginner-Intermediate Level In this class, students will learn how to paint a head study in oil from the life model. First, we’ll cover the basics of color theory and paint mixing. Participants will then map out their study with an under-drawing, before building up the painting with a direct, or alla prima technique. Through demonstration and individual critiques, students will gain confidence in handling oils and develop an understanding of how to capture a likeness. *Drawing materials provided.
