Polk County Red Back Hymnal Singing

Just two weeks away from our FIFTH Red Back Hymnal Singing – and we can’t wait!! This year, we have a few new special additions – We are very excited to welcome special performances by Copperhill native Carson Parris and Josh Felker of the Tennessee String Busters!! Also, local veterans will open and close the evening with prayer as part of this year’s recognition as an official Tennessee 250 event in partnership with our local Polk County Veterans Service Office!! The heart of the evening will remain what it’s always been about . . . coming together to sing the old familiar hymns that have connected our churches, families, and communities for generations. Whether you grew up with a Red Back Hymnal in your hands or simply love old-time gospel music, come sing along and be part of the tradition as led by our Chamber member churches – Benton United Methodist Church, First Baptist Church Benton Tennessee, and Ocoee Church of God. – Wednesday, October 21 – 6–8 p.m. – Polk County Show Barn, Benton TN – FREE & open to everyone
