Adult Arts Classes: **Scholarships are available here** Photography & Light: Seeing Across the Day (Ages 18+) 1st Meeting Date: Wednesday, April 1st 5pm-6pm Times & Days to be discussed 4 sessions Designed for working adults, this four-session photography course focuses on understanding and using light at different times of day. Participants explore natural, interior, and artificial lighting while developing both technical and creative skills. The course supports DSLR, mirrorless, and cell phone users and emphasizes intentional seeing, experimentation, and thoughtful critique. Students leave with a cohesive mini photo series and a deeper understanding of how light shapes visual storytelling. Register here 🏺 Adult’s Ceramics Class Tuesdays 6pm-7pm May 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th (4-weeks) This 4-week ceramics class for adults focuses on hand-building and beginner techniques. Perfect for all skill levels, students will enjoy a creative, relaxed space while creating functional and decorative pieces. Register here The Art of Knitting – May 14th – 6pm-8pm. Instructor: Catherine Schiesz   Register here Yoga at the Museum – May 23rd – 10am-11am.  Instructor: Melissa DeOrazio (bring your own towel & mat) Register here Chiaroscuro Workshop Instructor: Jonathan Cain Cost: $125 Dates: May 19, 26, June 2, & 9 — 6:00-8:00pm Chiaroscuro (originating from Italian for “light-dark”) is an Renaissance artistic technique using spotlight-like focus to create strong, dramatic contrasts between light and dark to create a sense of three-dimensional volume, depth, and emotional intensity. This technique was mastered by artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Caravaggio.  In this 4 part workshop, students will be introduced to the materials and techniques required to create their own chiaroscuro drawings. Demonstration, group instruction and individual critiques will be offered by instructor Jonathan Cain.
