Shakedown Sunday – 9/13

Never miss a Sunday show. So goes the old Deadhead saying—and it definitely applies to Shakedown Sunday, a monthly gathering at 443 Social Club. Shakedown Sunday is a monthly series hosted by Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers and members of Dead to the Core, with special guests, that celebrates the Grateful Dead—not just the band’s originals but songs from across the roots and rock worlds they made their own. Special guest Mark Ettinger is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in New York City. He has played piano with Bo Diddley, sung with the Bobs, conducted the Cincinnati Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, and toured the world for more than 15 years with the Flying Karamazov Brothers. He is currently performing as a duo with comedy magician Lucy Darling. Expect deep cuts, fresh collaborations, and old favorites reimagined. Only at Shakedown Sunday, only at the 443. TICKET INFO: The 443 is an intimate listening room with table service that seats 75 people. The green squares/circles on the floor plan are bar-height tables, and the orange squares are regular-height tables. Single attendees may be sharing a table with other single attendees. Multiple tickets purchased under the same name will automatically be seated together (up to 6 people). Requesting a specific table is a perk reserved for our VIP Patron members.
