Voices on the Hudson is a satellite of Voices in the Heights, a curated monthly music series featuring extraordinary songwriters. Come listen in a cozy cafe setting in the heart of Nyack! Sophie Buskin is an alt-folk artist based in New York City, crafting songs that live at the intersection of memory and transformation. Her debut EP Sweet Creature topped the Roots Music Report’s Alt-Folk chart in 2019, and was praised for its lyrical depth and emotional honesty. Sophie’s first full-length album is set for release in early 2026 and marks a bold new chapter in her evolving sound. TEOA (The End of America) is James Downes, Trevor Leonard, Brendon Thomas, and Katie Weissman, best friends who met on the road, found a musical kinship, and built a band around harmony, honesty, and connection. Based around Philadelphia and the northeast, their sound weaves three distinct voices into unmistakable vocal chemistry over a foundation of folk, rock, and Americana. In the Pitkin Room.
