Witchy (Adjacent) Book Club

🌙 Witchy (Adjacent) Book Club🌙 A book club for the curious, the earthy, the magical, the almost-magical, and the weird. (21+ due to possible topics and probable BYOB nights) Our first meeting will be an initial gathering to chat and share our favorite authors and books. Bring a list of your favorite witchy adjacent books (or the books themselves!) as this will help guide the group to our book choice for October. This is a free event with a suggested donation of $5 for possible drinks & snacks, and to support The Art Lounge studio. Format - Each month we will choose one fiction and one non-fiction. You can: read both, read one, read all of one and dabble in the other, listen to the audiobook(s). Our ancestors were oral storytellers, audiobooks count! If you need some inspiration this month, here are a few of our favorite witchy adjacent books: Chelsea’s favorites Fiction: Slewfoot: A Take of Bewitchery - Brom & Circe - Madeline Miller Non- fiction: Educated - Tara Westover & Stiff: The Curious Human Lives of Cadavers - Mary Roach Tara's (recent-ish) favorites Fiction: The Once and Future Witches - Alix E.
