Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary & Phineas Banning’s Birthday! Join us Saturday, August 15, 2026, for the Inaugural Banning Museum Summer Bash, a reimagined summer celebration featuring live music, dancing, food, and community on the historic grounds of the Banning Museum. Gather with friends, family, and neighbors for an evening inspired by America’s great summer traditions. In addition to listening to great music and dancing under the stars, this year, the Friends of Banning Museum are excited to introduce a brand-new featured event as part of the Banning Museum Summer Bash—the Inaugural Pie Baking Contest. From county fairs to family gatherings, pie baking has long been woven into the fabric of American culture.
