Each month spotlights a fresh dance, taught step-by-step so anyone can jump in — no partner or experience required. Grab a friend, bring the kids, or come solo and connect with others as the Donald gets everyone moving. A lively, feel-good way to end the day—come experience it for yourself. About Donald Frison Donald Frison, a native of Memphis, TN, is a singer, dancer, actor, and choreographer. Donald has entertained audiences throughout the US from his seven-week run to the finals of the TV show, “Star Search,” to a featured role with Dick Clark for the National Tour Association. Donald has choreographed and performed in numerous Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe shows. Know Before You Go: The Bay park address is 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota FL 34236. The Sarasota Garden Club address is 1131 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota FL 34236 FREE Parking is available in the parking lots in front of the Van Wezel and in front of the Municipal Auditorium, Art Center and Blue Pagoda. Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas and along the south side of Blvd of the Arts. Vehicular Access: Enter off the 10th Street Roundabout (as entrance from Blvd of the Arts/ South Van Wezel Way is CLOSED.) Pedestrian access: Follow signs and safely walk on the south side of BOTA, or enter from the parking lot in front of the Van Wezel. Park access: The park remains open during construction. Most walkways, the Ibis Playground and the living resilient shoreline continue to be available for your enjoyment. Construction on several Phase 2 park projects continues to impact walkways, roadways and parking across the site: South Van Wezel Way near the corner of Blvd of the Arts (BOTA) is CLOSED to improve stormwater drainage. The western edges of the parking lot just north of the Van Wezel and the Centennial Park parking lot are CLOSED to create a resilient shoreline. The area between the Municipal Auditorium and Art Center is closed to create a new Town Square. All pets must be non-aggressive and on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets. If the event is held or relocated indoors, pets are not permitted. Service dogs, as defined by applicable law, are permitted. Please report any risky or unsafe behavior to the Sarasota Non-Emergency Police 24 hours a day at (941) 316-1199. In the event of inclement weather — this event will be CANCELLED. Notices will be communicated via The Bay website calendar, Eventbrite, Facebook and Instagram up to one hour before start time as unpredictable Florida weather changes quickly.
