About this event
One of 35 upcoming events at The CheckOut, and 6,946 across Chicago.
OLEA Ensemble envisions a future in which the transformative power of chamber music can be used as a model for healthy connection and collaboration. Founded in 2021, OLEA is a trio of clarinet, violin, and piano dually based in Chicago and Cincinnati and performing regularly across the Midwest. OLEA’s mission to foster community connections through the innovative curation of new music has inspired recent commissions by Brad Balliett, Owen Hopper, Shane Scott Cook, Jacy Pedersen, Annie McAllister, and Christopher Jessop. This concert will feature works commissioned by the ensemble alongside some of our favorite pieces to perform, and, of course, it wouldn’t be an OLEA show without some audience participation! www.oleaensemble.com
