The Rez Abbasi and Kiran Ahluwalia Quartet brings together acclaimed guitarist Rez Abbasi and Grammy-winning vocalist Kiran Ahluwalia in a collaboration that blends jazz with South Asian musical traditions. Abbasi, a Guggenheim Fellow, is recognized for his work as a composer and bandleader, while Ahluwalia is known for her interpretations of traditional Punjabi music alongside original compositions. Together, they present a program rooted in both improvisation and global musical forms.
