Tennessee Potter’s Society Meeting on Saturday, August 29, 20264 from 3:00-5:00

Our next meeting is Saturday, August 29 from 3:00-5:00. Join us as Susan DeMay discusses the life of “The Mad Potter of Bilioxi”, George Ohr! Susan has written numerous articles that have appeared in national and international publications and books. Her work has been included in five Lark Book Series and books for beginners studying clay. The latest book was The Best of 500 Ceramics: Celebrating a Decade in Clay. Susan conducts numerous glazing workshops in the region and participates in many exhibitions around the Southeast. Members will not be asked to pay monetary dues. However, there will be an ask at each meeting for a piece of your work to benefit our creative, non-profit, communities of Tennessee. August 29, 2026 meeting dues: Bring 2 handmade cups or mugs: one to donate to Cups of Co-opportunity and the second for a mug exchange! Come early to the meeting and participate in our Spring Bowl-A-Thon in our pottery studio from 9:00-3:00! Clay is provided! Bowls will be given to the Cookin on the Square event that benefits Habitat For Humanity.
