Join us for the 16th annual Ugly Pot Throw Celebration on Saturday, October 17 from 10:00-4:00! The 16th Annual Ugly Pot Throw is almost here! Join us on Saturday, October 17 from 10:00-4:00 for this free and family-friendly event on The Clay Lady’s Campus! Come on out to celebrate our community and: – Enjoy hotdogs and ice cream from Devi’s Dogs! – Cheer on the competitors of The Ugly Pot Throwdown! – Create creatures in the Kid’s Monster Lab Tent! – Meet adoptable dogs from MACC! – Add to the community mosaic! – Get a tattoo with @artbyianwhite and @shark_boy_tattoos! – Shop one-of-a-kind finds at The Pottery Market and The CLC Gallery! – And of course the main event: throw an ugly pot against the wall as you yell, “I’m going to make the next one better!” The Ugly Pot Throw Celebration is a free, community event inspired by the ugly pot: the fallen, broken, mis-glazed, wonky, pots “give their life to teach you how to make the next pot better”! We must honor those ugly pots as teachers and guides on our journey.
