About Your Class When: Every Thursday from 5:30-8:30, starting the week of September 21 Duration: 9 weeks Instructor: Jessica Uhles Price: $310 plus supplies This pottery class provides techniques for the beginner or the experienced artist! All skill levels, ages 16 and up are welcome. We believe beginner and experienced potters alike benefit from this collaborative community! All class fees of $310 do not include starter supplies that will be purchased the first day of class at Mid-South Ceramics, the supply store on our Campus, for approximately $50. About your Instructor Jessica Uhles During Class: You might see clay in my hair and on my glasses. I joyfully embrace the mess and encourage my students to do the same. I’m also a big fan of the sky, so be prepared to take a break at the wheel and watch the sunset with me. Did You Know: When I’m not in my studio, I’m finding a trail to hike or a creek to dip my toes in. Sometimes I do that with my goofy bloodhound Gus. As An Artist: I love clay because there’s always something new to learn and explore. After 8 years of creating, I still don’t have “my style” figured out. And I find a lot of excitement in that. I do know I love to carve. No pot is safe from my “I could carve that” mentality.
