Chair Weaving

Learn how to create a woven seat, and leave this Saturday afternoon workshop with your own handwoven stool! After learning this skill, you will be able to apply it to repairing and upcycling chairs you already own or ones you thrift to make unique additions to any room. All skill levels welcome. Tuition includes all supplies, including Danish paper cord and a premade stool frame. Bring your own lunch and snacks as desired. Classwork will continue over lunchtime, but students will be able to take a break for lunch on their own. Visit our homepage at delaplaine.org or call 301-698-0656 x366 for information on weather related closings. If the building is closed, classes are canceled, and a make-up session will be scheduled.
