Introduction to Wheel Throwing

Learn the basics of using wheel throwing to create functional ceramics such as mugs, cups, and bowls. Surface decoration, glazing, and finishing will be introduced as well. Tuition includes all supplies, as well as kiln loading and firing. Delaplaine staff will contact you to pick up your finished pieces after they have been fired. When you pick up, please bring a box to transport your work home. Visit our homepage at delaplaine.org or call 301-698-0656 x366 for information on weather related closings. If the building is closed, classes are canceled, and a make-up session will be scheduled.
