Johan Lowie – Silent Witness

Mixed media This series of intimate portraits were created on the pages of discarded books using pencil, watercolor, and acrylic. They focus on fleeting expressions, gestures, and moments of recognition. Their modest scale invites close looking, encouraging viewers to slow down and engage with the humanity found in ordinary, often overlooked moments. Johan will discuss the work in this exhibition at the Dec 5 Art Matters Artist Talk.
