Quilting for Kids

Dive into the wonderful world of quilting and sewing and create a classic patchwork quilt. Learn basic terminology, how to operate a sewing machine, and basic quilt construction. This course is taught by the Clustered Spires Quilt Guild, whose mission is to share their love of quilting with the community. Tuition includes all supplies, but students who own sewing machines are encouraged to bring them. A limited number of machines are available; if you do not own a machine, please reach out to reserve one as early as possible. NOTE: There will be no class on March 6. Visit our homepage at delaplaine.org or call 301-698-0656 x366 for information on weather related closings. If the building is closed, classes are canceled, and a make-up session will be scheduled.
