One of 75 upcoming events at The Django, and 11,699 across New York City.
From The Django
3x MAC Award & Noel Coward/Julie Wilson Award-Winner Marissa Mulder evokes the knowing-yet-girlish sound of Blossom Dearie, the ethereal pop of Eva Cassidy, the gentle sensuality of Marilyn Monroe, and even sometimes the plaintive indie-rock edge of Martha Wainwright. She has performed at Lincoln Center, Town Hall, Carnegie Hall, and other storied NYC venues. “Ms. Mulder sang as if the songs were torn from inside her and reduced the room to a hushed silence... everything the genre can be but almost never is.” - Stephen Holden, The New York Times
