Essential Cinema: Legend

The second feature of our Tim Curry October at the Eureka Theater Join us for a special screening of Ridley Scott’s fantasy epic Legend, starring Tim Curry as the Lord of Darkness. In a world of unicorns, goblins, and ancient forests, a young hero must journey to save the last unicorn and defeat the forces of darkness. Tim Curry disappears into the role of Darkness beneath hours of prosthetic makeup and towering bull-like horns, delivering a performance that is both terrifying and mesmerizing. His transformation is considered one of the most impressive makeup achievements in cinema history. This screening is part of our Essential Cinema series and continues Tim Curry October at the Eureka Theater. We are honoring the legendary actor with screenings of three of his most iconic films throughout October.
