Astor Piazzolla’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires is a sensual, cinematic work set to the heartbeat of Buenos Aires. Each movement captures the city’s moods – from the sultry heat of summer to the crisp melancholy of winter – showcasing Piazzolla’s revolutionary nuevo tango style of fiery rhythms and haunting melodies. This captivating program also features two timeless classics by Bach, Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and Suite No. 1, along with Golijov’s Last Round. The concert is led by TFO Concertmaster Jeffrey Multer, and features TFO First Assistant Concertmaster Yefim Romanov.
