Intro to Wood Turning: French Rolling Pin from $250.00 Level: Beginner Approx. Duration: 3 hours Age Requirement: 14+ (Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian who will remain present for the duration of the class. Under the age of 18 must be accompanied to class by a parent/legal guardian to sign a waiver on their behalf.) Instructor: Jared Moran Begin your introduction into the art of wood turning with Jared Moran of Wildland Woodworks! We will cover the basics of the lathe, lathe tools and accessories. We will start with a discussion of various holding techniques and proper form for safety. Students will practice these new skills by turning a French Rolling Pin on the lathe which they will take home after sanding and sealing. The maximum number of students is three, so that each student receives one on one instruction on a dedicated lathe of their own. Class tuition includes all materials. All class enrollments are subject to a no-refund, no-transfer policy.
