Loving Cup that was gifted to William Seward Webb, father-in-law of Museum founder Electa Havemeyer Webb, upon his retirement from Wagner Palace Car Company in 1899. Part of the exhibition Varied & Alive: New and Rarely Seen Treasures from the Collection, this extraordinary 25-pint, three-handled silver cup was custom made by the 4,000 employees of the company that he owned.
