About this event

Outdoors Arts & Culture

Join Emily Martin, mindfulness instructor, for a morning of nature awareness, watercolor painting, and cultural exploration at the History Museum of Hood River County. We’ll set up art tables under the trees, grounding ourselves in nature before diving into painting. Each participant will receive an outline of the landscape by local artist Marcella Kriebel, along with watercolor supplies and easy instructions to create your painting. All materials are provided, including the Gorge Art Box with supplies and iconic Gorge sketches. You’ll take home your hand-painted souvenir and the remaining contents of the Art Box to continue your creative journey. Your experience also includes entry to the History Museum for a cultural touch to your day. Thursday, July 9, 2026 Thursday, August 6, 2026 No painting experience required—just a love for nature and creativity. Cost: $45 per person, seating is limited.
