never easy, Wayside, Postdrome

never easy is a fresh force shoegaze and nu-metal, merging early 2000s nostalgia with a modern edge. Formed less than a year ago, this duo blends dreamy shoegaze textures with the raw energy of nu-metal, inspired by alternative, video game, and skate cultures. Their music captures the atmospheric haze of heavy shoegaze while injecting it with the intensity of nu-metal, creating a sound that’s both nostalgic and innovative. Despite their short time together, never easy’s unique fusion and energetic presence quickly set them apart, inviting listeners to dive into a sonic journey where the past meets the present. Wayside return in 2026 with new music, building on the band’s distinct sound with one of their heaviest, most dynamic tracks to date. Written collaboratively between members Thomas Davenport, Josh Ehmer and Izzy De Leon, this marks a cornerstone in the band’s discography and a new chapter musically for the three-piece. Since the release of Will Yip-produced “What Does Your Soul Look Like” (2023) and collaboration track with Softcult “Can You See It?” (2025), Wayside have toured the world and gained a loyal fanbase. Building from the ground up in Melbourne, Australia, the band had stayed independent since day one, until now. Wayside has signed with Memory Music, joining a stacked roster next to Balance & Composure and Webbed Wing. postdrome, alt metal and grungegaze from Denver, Colorado. ALWAYS ALL AGES
