past self

past self is a k-goth band from Las Vegas, Nevada consisting of Sung (Vocals/Guitar), æther (Keys) and Spektor (Bass). They use darkwave, post punk, and ethereal soundscapes as their sonic medium. Taking aesthetic cues from visual kei and pulling heavily from bands like The Cure, Asylum Party, and Cocteau twins, they blend Korean and English lyrics to bring you what they call “k-goth.” “…a seamless interpenetration of haunting darkness and spellbinding light, cloaked in moping introspection and gothic sensitivity.” -White Light//White Heat ALWAYS ALL AGES
