Livestream 7pm Livestream 9pm GREG WARD Greg Ward is a critically acclaimed saxophonist and composer known for his dynamic voice in contemporary jazz and genre-defying projects. A versatile and forward-thinking artist, he has collaborated with leading voices across jazz, classical, and experimental music, including Makaya McCraven, Linda May Han Oh, and the International Contemporary Ensemble. Ward is an Associate Professor of Music at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he mentors the next generation of artists while maintaining an active international performance career. He leads several of his own ensembles, most notably Rogue Parade, a group that seamlessly blends intricate compositional structures with raw, spontaneous improvisation. His work reflects a deep grounding in the jazz tradition while consistently pushing beyond stylistic boundaries, often incorporating elements of rock, soul, and chamber music into a cohesive and personal sound world. With multiple albums to his name including Stomping Off From Greenwood, Touch My Beloved’s Thought, Phonic Juggernaut, and Dion’s Quest, Ward continues to develop a body of work that reflects both his deep roots in the tradition and his commitment to pushing it forward.
