@ Two Pittsburgh legends united last year for one night of unforgettable music. That concert was captured in a documentary that’s being shown for the first time at The Lindsay! Forever Young: A Bob Dylan Tribute transports viewers back to that magical evening in summer 2025 when famed Pittsburgh musicians Billy Price and Joe Grushecky took the stage and serenaded the audience at Lawrenceville’s Thunderbird Café & Music Hall with a selection of Bob Dylan’s most beloved hits. The world premiere of director Len Caric’s rock doc will take place at The Lindsay on Sunday, Aug. 30, at 1 p.m. In addition to showing the film, Price and Gruschecky will perform live in The Lindsay’s Large Screening Room and participate in a post-screening Q&A. This event is The Lindsay’s latest Emerging Filmmakers Showcase, which gives local filmmakers the opportunity to share their work on the big screen at no cost to them or our guests. We recommend RSVPs in advance via the below sign-up form due to space limitations. “When do you ever get to see two living legends of your own hometown on the big screen?” says Caric. “This is a chance to celebrate Pittsburgh’s own, to feel proud of what this city produces and to experience music that genuinely means something.” Caric co-founded and runs Jule Stories, a Pittsburgh-based production company, with his wife, Judy Caric. The veteran businessman is also an adjunct professor of entrepreunership in Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. Forever Young spotlights local icons Price, also known as the “East Coast King of Blue-Eyed Soul,” and Grushecky, who alongside his Houserockers band has been a Pittsburgh staple since the late 1970s. “When I heard about this show, I knew immediately that I had to capture it,” says Caric. “These are not young artists at the beginning of something—they are masters at the height of their wisdom and artistry. People need to see what great musicianship looks like.” Price and Grushecky are perfect avatars for Bob Dylan’s music thanks to their working-class Pittsburgh upbringings, posits Caric. “Billy and Joe didn’t just play Bob Dylan songs—they brought their entire lives and style to them. When a Pittsburgh musician sings Everything is Broken or Positively 4th Street, it lands differently than it does anywhere else.” Even the lucky few who witnessed their live Bob Dylan tribute concert will get to experience it from new, more intimate angles in Forever Young. Their fans will also be treated to conversations with Price and Grushecky about their relationships with Dylan, each other, their hometown and much more. “A concert is an event,” says Caric. “A documentary like this is a portrait. The theater does something the living room can’t: It creates a communal experience, where you laugh and feel and applaud together. Great music was always meant to be shared in a room full of people.” FOREVER YOUNG World Premiere Aug. 30, 2026 Reservation Sign Up Instagram This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
