Let the Music Play: Steinway Residency Series featuring Ethan Uslan

In collaboration with the Steinway Piano Gallery, the Mint is bringing the thrill of piano music to Mint Museum Uptown. Enjoy the sounds of a curated piano performance by Ethan Uslan. Uslan’s program will include classic jazz and ragtime, with selections by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Scott Joplin, and even Romare Bearden. A three-time winner of the World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing Contest, Uslan has performed throughout the United States and Europe. He was also prominently featured in the documentary “The Entertainers” and his jazz rendition of Bach’s “Minuet in G” was used in the AMC series “Interview With the Vampire.” About the Steinway Residency Series Every third Wednesday of the month, a rotating lineup of talented local and regional pianists will fill the museum space with piano performances. Performances will take place 6–6:45 PM and as part of Free Wednesday Evenings, giving visitors time to enjoy the music, explore the galleries that are open until 9 p.m. every Wednesday, and still have time to enjoy dinner at Mariposa at the Mint. The series is presented by First Horizon Bank.
