A READING OF ROMAN FEVER Written by Edith Wharton Adapted to the stage by Dennis Krausnick Directed by Normi Noel Featuring Corinna May, Diane Prusha, and David Joseph Edith Wharton’s iconic story of friendship, jealousy, and betrayal comes vividly to life in a staged reading, presented in collaboration with Shakespeare & Co. Set against the timeless backdrop of Rome, two friends revisit a shared past, revealing simmering tensions, long-buried secrets, and astounding revelations. Join us for an intimate theatrical experience that illuminates Wharton’s razor-sharp wit and enduring fascination with the complexities of human relationships. A reception will follow where the cast and audience are invited to share their memories of Shakespeare & Co. at The Mount. This performance is dedicated to Tina Packer, who founded Shakespeare & Company at The Mount in 1978.
