Due to high temperatures, this Wharton on Wednesday reading will take place in the air-conditioned Stable Auditorium. Questions can be directed to: [email protected] Stories, voices, and a welcoming café atmosphere—Wharton on Wednesday returns for a five-month run! Join us at the Terrace Café on the first Wednesday of each month, June through October, as local actors bring quintessential Edith Wharton short stories to life. Arrive early to enjoy the spectacular view and refreshments from the Café, open at 4:30 pm. In July, Gregory Boover reads The Recovery. Sponsored by a rich benefactress, a locally acclaimed American painter and his wife head to Europe to show off his paintings, only to discover he still has much to learn IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION: This one-hour reading takes place in The Mount’s Stable Auditorium, a 140-seat climate-controlled venue adjacent to the Upper Parking Lot. Accessible parking is available directly in front of the Auditorium doors. A Pop-Up Bar will be serving gin and tonics and other chilled beverages in the Stable Carriage Wash, 4:30 – 5:30 pm. Those wishing to cancel their ticket orders will receive full refunds. To cancel, email: [email protected] Seating for all programs at The Mount is first-come, first-served. If you have seating preferences, we recommend arriving fifteen minutes early. Accessible seating is available. He has worked with many organizations and venues across the east coast including the Hanover Theater, the Majestic Theater, The Humanist Project, Barrington Stage, Catskill Mountain Shakespeare, WAM Theatre, Emergent Ensemble Theatre, The Theater at Monmouth, Urbanite Theatre, the rig, The Theater at Woodshill, The Umbrella Stage Company, Hampshire Shakespeare, Berkshire Playwright’s Lab, The Looking Glass Theatre (NY) and many more. Greg is a company artist and educator at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA, serves on the faculty at Community Access to The Arts in Great Barrington, MA, and produces his own independent music and artwork.
